Apparently, Fortune 500 companies don’t really believe in SEO. This article from Search Engine Land ^[1] says that these companies are “doing an extraordinarily poor job”. Ouch!
Who doesn’t love analogies? There is a post at SEOMoz about a “File Cabinet” theory of site architecture ^[2]. In this post ‘Great Scott’ mentions that a lot of people get confused on how to structure their site to be SEO friendly and user friendly at the same time. Therefore Scott has given us the file cabinet example of how you should structure your site to meet both search engine and user needs. It helps, it really does!
Nothing is more frustrating then discovering that a pesky Wikipedia entry ^[3] is outranking your well-optimized (and probably more relevant) content. Blue Hat SEO has a great plan for beating the Wikipedia entry’s own game – and coming out on top!
