You are right. There is a way to protect the reputation of doing SEO work for clients, but lacking in professionalism doesn’t help the cause.

Through the long bickering, it makes me always want to ask (in my mind, NOT as an archived comment) “Um … Do you have any clients to get back to? and if not, do you think you should work on that?”
